Sonics and vocal experimentation are recurring aspects of Zethu's works. She often responds to ideas through sound, as a way of furthering embodying her investigations.

Electric Mbira (Made in 2019)
Ex-vocalist of experimental Jazz/Rock band Rhythm Sticks. Our album "The Hen's Tooth" was launched at The Barbican Centre as part of the London Jazz Festival 2013 and over the course of a year have had our music entered into the National Sound Archives at the British Library, performed at the Barbican, at Jazz On 3’s Jazz In The Round Cockpit Theatre, at the Vortex Outdoors Festival. To celebrate that year's success, Rhythm Sticks were booked to perform upstairs at The Vortex, London on a bill with the George Crowley Ensemble.
